LCA's History

DSC00818_edited.jpg

To be transparent: I didn’t do very well in elementary and high school. I wasn’t made to sit quietly in rows and fill out worksheets. I was made to move. God made me an explorer and from my earliest age, until now, that is what I have been. I just sat there wishing I was outside playing. Only when I entered college and set my sights on becoming a USAF pilot did I see a need to learn. Based on testing at college, it was discovered that I was well equipped to be an engineer. And so, I transferred into engineering, and I found my passion because IT WAS INTERESTING TO ME. I graduated with honors and became a USAF pilot for ten years before God called me and I left the USAF to get trained for Ministry.

I graduated from Bible school, started teaching children, and was chosen to be the children’s pastor at Rhema Bible Church where we had 1000 children, 500 teachers and 39 classes to staff each week. I also taught children’s workers and ran many large events. I have now been the Senior Pastor of Faith Family Church for 30 years, and I have been highly involved in teaching children for most of those years. My wife Deb has a lifetime of management experience in the business world and is an amazing communicator.

LCA's History

After graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center, Pastor Andy White founded Faith Family Church in Chandler, AZ in 1994. Soon after, he started Life Christian Academy & Preschool in 2001.

Seeking to fill the void left by the public school system, Pastor Andy & Deb White created Life Christian Academy in 2014. Today, we strive to provide a balanced education with a Biblical worldview woven throughout each lesson.

In order to grow sustainably, LCA has grown incrementally by adding a grade level each year. Learn more about that here.

Our 12 Foundations Of Faith

We Are A Covenant School

LCA is a collaborative learning community. that means we work together, with you, towards the same goal.

How You Fit In

At LCA we understand that we can only have a limited impact on your child's life. We believe that in order to form a solid foundation on God's Word, a child needs consistency at home and in the classroom.

When a strong partnership, or covenant, is formed between two parties both are agreeing to benefit and support the other. We want the best for our students and want to assure our parents that their child is taught Biblical principles consistently in the classroom.

Amos 3:3 says "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" We need to know that we are walking towards the same destination so that we walk together. This is why our Parent's Spiritual Agreement is necessary.
